My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at Fairmont. Hands down the best experience we have ever had on vacation. The service was impeccable! If I could put more stars on service because 5 doesn’t seem high enough. They arranged for a bottle of wine to be sent to our room. We spent the day with activities and got to our room mid/late afternoon. Within 5mins of being in our rm, they delivered a bottle of chilled prosecco (I prefer it over champagne) with 2 glasses. Their concierge service was always available and accommodating. We stay in the king room with a view. The view was absolutely amazing. We both had a spa treatment which was also amazing. The spa has three plunge pools and a large mineral pool to enjoy before and/or after treatment. The whole experience was a dream. Not a single thing I would improve. We will definitely come back hopefully for our anniversary and stay in the same room or side of the hotel for the view of the Canadian Rockies!

We visited to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and departed with full hearts. This was a last-minute rebooking due to the cancellation of our original plans. The service provided over the phone was exceptional, with Ardene being both kind and incredibly helpful. The experience met the Gold standard we had anticipated. We were warmly greeted by Adam at reception, who had a welcoming smile. The hospitality was evident from the moment our car arrived. Ty opened our door, and our bags were promptly taken to our room. This was our first Fairmont Gold experience, and I do not believe we could ever want anything less. The room, with its "million-dollar view," continues to feel surreal. The service was impeccable (10/10). We greatly appreciated all the thoughtful details that were implemented to make this a memorable trip, and it truly was! Thank you for this experience, and we eagerly anticipate visiting another one of your properties very soon, and of course, at the Gold Level.

We loved our stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs. The customer service here is next level. Every server and bartender that we encountered was incredibly attentive to our needs. We visited the Vermillion Room, Rundle Bar and Grapes during our stay and each one had impeccable service. The food was also great! The spa was another highlight of our trip. The attention to detail was impressive. I had Doei as my masseuse and she was fantastic. Highly recommend a visit to the spa, it’s worth it! We had a little hiccup leaving the hotel as my bag didn’t make it on the shuttle with our other bags after checking them in with guest services (which we didn’t notice until we got to the airport in Calgary). I want to shout out Don and Jay because they went above and beyond to get my bag back to me just in time to make my flight back home.

Beautiful location and exceptional service The dining experience varied across the restaurants. While some were very good, the Castello Restaurant did not fully meet our expectations during our visit. However, the Vermilion Restaurant was excellent, offering great food at a fair price. I would like to especially recognize the outstanding personal attention we received across different departments and restaurants. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, and truly made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. In terms of entertainment, options were somewhat limited during the week. There were some outdoor activities and a few options for kids, but not many activities geared toward couples. Live music was not available during our stay, likely due to our midweek visit, and it’s possible there are more amenities offered on weekends. The hotel also seems to be popular with guests visiting for skiing and snowboarding. Overall, while the experience did not fully align with our expectations, the setting was absolutely stunning. Staying in the mountains and enjoying the breathtaking views—especially from the Rundle Lounge—was one of the highlights of our trip. I would also like to commend the management team, who were very kind and responsive. They refunded part of the cost related to our experience at Castello and made a genuine effort to ensure we received the best possible service.

Spectacular on all levels! This hotel is phenomenal and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The entire staff was gracious and welcoming at every turn—from the curbside porter and front desk attendants to the restaurant staff and housekeeping. Throughout our stay we experienced consistent, highly-attentive service that anticipated our every need. As if this historic hotel, set in an unparalleled setting of the Canadian Rockies wasn’t awesome enough, the people who cared for us made it truly a 5-star experience. We’ll be back!

From the check in to the room, everything was so smooth for us. The food at the Vermillion was really good and the service better. Our room was perfectly comfortable with a view that was magical. My wife had a photo shoot and was so impressed with everyone that helped, especially the hospitality of the GM Richard. He made sure she was all set and happy with everything. We can't wait to see how the pictures turn out. Check out was easy and every staff member we encountered we happy to be there and to assist us. Thank you so much for this amazing experience.

The customer service everywhere was amazing. The hotel is VERY child friendly. Even the server at the Italian restaurant brought us a wet cloth to wipe our son off with. So kind. The people who cleaned our room did a great job - we loved that they folded the baby’s blanket as well . We loved all of the activities the resort had to offer daily. Our favourites were tobogganing and going outside to the hot pool outside. The hotel seems very organized: we had other kids in our wing and there was a different area in the hotel that they had rooms with dogs. Regardless, the way the rooms are laid out, it was very quiet.

Our Stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were struck not only by the beauty and history of this iconic castle in the Rockies, but by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Corina from housekeeping went above and beyond to ensure our room was perfect. At the Adventure Centre, Ewan was equally outstanding. He was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide of the hotel history tour--a highlight of our stay! The hotel itself is stunning, with historic charm blended beautifully with modern comfort. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning!
